The Zone will constantly change depending on the events and encounters happening within it. Unlike previous S.T.A.L.K.E.R titles, S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2: Heart of Chernobyl will take place in a vast open-world where every choice will drastically affect the game's narrative, as well as the world itself. It is up to the S.T.A.L.K.E.R to explore the Zone while fighting off the nightmarish abominations standing between them and the luxurious treasures scattered throughout the environment.
